Holidays

Tomorrow would be the beginning of our vacation in New Zealand. We’re in the midst of packing and planning. We’d be in the land of the Kiwis for 10 days and we have no idea whether we would be able to get online at all so no guarantees we could update this blog either. In any case, happy holidays to all of you! Cheers!

  1. @Gigi: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Christmas could have been better (full account of what happened on a future post but the gist of it is Christmas dinner was mainly canned food in a dirty hotel with the hubby).

I think it was the worst ever for Gj who swore to go back to the Philippines this year during the holiday season. I think he misses the family reunion his clan has every Christmas season. Our celebration this year is far from being the best. On the other hand, it could have been worse. I’m thankful that it’s not and happy to count our blessings instead of focusing on the type of celebration we had (or should I say, lack of?)

Reading your post about how you spent your Christmas, I agree that it’s not really the presents and parties that make the holiday, it’s the people (and four-legged friends) that we spend them with. And I was happy with the company I was keeping during that time. 🙂

  2. Merry Christmas Geejay and Raquel! I hope Christmas in NZ was the best ever. 🙂
